how do you get setidriver to start automatically at windows load up? Is there a way to download a few work units at one time?

This should be enough to answer your question on extra WUs.

To get SetiDriver to load on startup, simply create a shortcut from the setidriver exe, and cut/paste that shortcut into your startup directory.

If you're running Windows XP, it'd be located here..

C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

The last time I checked, all of this was in the stickies. Is that not the case anymore?

[Edit]...it is.

44. : Finally double click the SETI driver icon in your tray, set the desired cache size to 3-5 days worth of work units. If you are not sure how many to set it to set it to 10 and see about how many units you complete in a day and then multiply that by 3 or 5. And also if you have a 24/7 internet connection you can click auto transmit otherwise when you cache gets low you will need to connect to the internet manually and then click the transmit button on SETI driver. You may also wish to connect to one of the teams public queues. Save the configuration and you are now ready to crunch.

Of course, you can make a shortcut to SETISpy and paste it into your system startup folder, then SETI@home will automatically restart, every time you boot up Windows...

Somebody should update the file links to the latest and greatest versions of SETISpy and SETIDriver. The SETI user assignment components are also different in the newer versions of SETISpy, since we no longer need the "workaround".

my average for the seti team is like 10 or 14 per day, which is cloer - cause i started out so slow and not ona team.
