How many of you would be interested in an additional page on the ocsetiteam.com site that would list the queue servers we have up and running? Just a thought to help track and more easily add new queue servers to the list.

sounds good!!

btw, i "might" need to borrow u guys' Queue bandwidth in the near future if my "secret weapon" is working as planned. 'cos mine "might not" able to feed all my clientsssss!! ;)

Have at it landshark. I'm planning on moving mine to a dedicated connection. shouldn't have any problems feeding your machines.

I am also moving to a static ip as well as a symetrical connection...(same upload/download speed)...it will be quicker then...im currently only caching 50wu's at a time, but as more people hit the setiqeue, that cache will go up...

[EDIT: I am also on cable...its pretty quick...but not T1 lol]

mine is on cable. and i've caculated it could downloads/uploads 'bout 100 or so WUs / day. but that "might still not" be able to feed my "secret weapon" tho......;) well, i'll have to wait and see if my plan works out. :D

i've been watching the bandwidth on my queue server.

Period (Date) Download Upload Both Directions

3/31/2002 885.33 MB 62.11 MB 947.44 MB
4/1/2002 5.76 GB 369.77 MB 6.12 GB
4/2/2002 26.70 MB 19.70 MB 46.41 MB
4/3/2002 21.86 MB 15.87 MB 37.73 MB
4/4/2002 26.36 MB 20.66 MB 47.02 MB
4/5/2002 12.27 MB 12.22 MB 24.49 MB

So as you can see the bandwidth needs aren't that great.

Number of Seti Users 16
Number of SetiQueue Queues 8
Number of SetiQueue Clients 15
But i don't have a large amount of clients but still, 340k? It's not that much really.

My queue is at 24.64.21.133 port 500 its up 99% of the time... run on this box, yeah... if you horses need it, or anyone else, its up for you to use...
