Got a early GW233PII that i bumped to 280MH Anybody know how high i can go i have good components but the MB is not even supposed to handle 100megaH ram.Can anybody tell me if picking the PLL would get better speed? How do i pick the right chip ID? Thanks Biffer

There is only ever one way to find out how high you can go - TRY AND FIND OUT

to find the PLL reference, look for a chip on the motherboard manufactured by ICS or winbond that is quite goddam small and situated next to or near the slot.

Since there is no supprt any longer for Soft FSB - if you find a clock gen that isn't listed in the defaults - poist again in this forum - somebody is bound to have a PLL file that they can e-mail you

OK Wild Andy. I need your help or that of someone on the board. The only Soft control that I have is with CPU Cool for my Abit SE6.

It has Winbond W83627HF and Intel 815 (Solano) Chipset. Does anyone have a plug in for Soft FSB for me??
