I have an FIC AD11 MOBO... it has 512MB DDR ram in it... but how can I make sure the ram is running at full speed? My Processor is right... 1.4GHz AMD Athlon, but how do I check my ram, and setup the ram in the BIOS? HELP!

you should be able to set it up in chipset features.youll look for clock speed default is prolly 3 change to 2 and setting prollly stock on your ram are 3,3,3 timing.look for those numbers in bios next to ras,cas ect.....you want 2,2,2 timing to get mostly full potential. If you plan on overclocking heavily you might need to change your clock speed back to 2.But if you run stable hey keep it.check to see if your ram is c-2,c-2.5,or c-3. c-2 is better .thats how fast your clock speed for your ram is.its really a clock cycle <the lower or less cycles it does .therfore it is faster.happy tweaking

First of all, Welcome to the forum.

This is shown on pages 3-8 through 3-11 in the manual. You'll find the memory settings in the CMOS setup under "Advanced Chipset Features." Scroll down to "SDRAM Timing setting by", set this to "manual" to enable the option to manipulate the memory settings manually. There are a host of setting options for the more advanced user here, the one you're most interested in at this point would be "SDRAM CAS Latency" which you should set to "2" provided your memory can handle it.

I hope this helps.

Good Luck!
