i sjut need to know how to make the drives show up on XP PRO do they have top be formated?????? how do i format the drives if i cnat see the letters on them?

To format a drive you have to first make partitions. Then format all the partitions.

You may be able to do that from :
Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management

Why you cannot create a raid - I don't have idea.
To create raid the drives do not have to be formated. After you create raid array you have to partition and format the array itself.

well i got msot of it now what i did was put both on master then went straight into XP PRO DISK management and thats only place u can see them and i formated them and partioned them there and they work so i guess its goood

i dunno what i did man but i can store stuff on the harddrives but it shows 2 not 1 so i dunno
