You have to use the -config option. This can be accomplished by creating a shortcut and putting " -config" without the quotes at the end of the target area. Then run the client from the shortcut and it will ask you all of the information to configure the client with your name and the team number.
What ver. are you using? I am guessing 2.15 because it does not prompt for you to enter it. you have several choices you can download the 2.19 beta ver. here or you can make a new shortcut to the program and add the -config flag. then run it from this shortcut anytime you want to change the config. here is an example.
