hi need some advice on a water cooled 9800 pro made by ATI previously i had a water cooled 9700 pro ....i have just fitted the asetek water cooling block to the 9800 pro but am a bit worried about whether i should have removed the shim around the core...i left the shim on the 9700 pro due to the flat standard heatsink ....however on inspection of the standard 9800 pro heatsink it has a raised centre in contact with the core but before i fitted it i noticed it was level with the shim ...i now have my gpu up and running (as i type) lol ...should i remove it or leave it ?? i have no temp probe on the core and am unsure of running temps...any advice would be welcome thanks:D
