should i or should i not?

I got a power failure, so i decided to re-plug every components.
it then asked for a CPU config which i have set back to default before i overclock back. Then cpu-z tells my core speed is 1197Mhz..
wth!?

i restarted pc..
Load everything to defaults in BIOS. then i had a blue screen just right after windows started.

i restarted pc..
Then i tried to PROPERLY reset them again to default. then i get my BIOS hang.. (screen wouldn't change as keyboard pressed, instead it shows dot-dot thingy).

i restarted pc..
monitor stands by, keyboard and mouse dead..
then i turned it off and try to chill down the CPU..

now i got everything's back to normal
CPU temp at 37C, MB temp at 43C. both at idle.
but i feel dead.. should i overclock back to 3.0Ghz ??

ouch...man that sucks, sounds like you need to replace a certain battery on your motherboard

I would run it for a day or so to make sure it's stable and nothing is failing. If everything seems back to norma, then go ahead and start overclocking . Maybe do it in a couple steps to check things out. If your BIOS won't hold the settings, then the CMOS battery might be fading out.
