I havent updated a new one since i got my board, and i was wonderin if i would gain speed or stability with the latest update.

From what I've personally seen and from seeing what others are reporting, with the KT7, don't go above revision WW for the moment. It seems to yield slightly better OC results than WZ or YH. That is from anecdotal reports mind you.

it seems to me that a bios should be updated whenever they are available, i would hope that the mobo people put them out because they correct something or make it better, dont get beta versions though, let someone else be a guinnea pig!

BIOS updates do indeed address certain problems that have been brought to the attention of the manufacturers, but these issues don't neccesarily pertain to you. For example, they may fix a problem with WIN ME and you may be running WIN 2000, this of course would be of no use to you. The best advise I could give to you is research, if you are having a problem, check the motherboard manufacturer's web site to see if they have a fix you could benefit from. Otherwise I say leave well enough alone.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
