I'm thinking of upgrading my PC but I'm not really good in all this hardware stuff...Here's my PC:

Aopen HT45 case http://www.aopen.com/products/housing/ht45.htm
Aopen AX34 II with Via Apollo Pro 133A http://www.aopen.com/products/mb/ax34ii.htm
Intel P3 1GHz 256K http://www.intel.com/design/PentiumIII/prodbref/index.htm
Aopen Geforce3 Ti200 128MB http://www.aopen.com/products/vga/gf3ti200-dv128.htm
some SDRAM PC133 320MB RAM :S
Soundblaster Live http://www.soundblaster.com/products/sblive/specs.asp
an ethernet card...?
Maxtor 20GB ATA100 7200 (forgot model)
LG CED-8080B http://www.lge.com/c_product/catalo...mdl_cod=CED-8080B&mdl_mak=1&navigation=1,20,2

I'm getting around 5500 3Dmarks 2001 with this setup...

I'm thinking about getting a 1.6GHz 512K p4 Northwood wich I intend to clock at 2.0GHz+ and a new motherboard to go with it...
Is it worth it? what kind of board and memory should I get? do I need a new case/power supply? extra fan?
Also, keep in mind that I would like to pay around 300$CAN (around 200$ US)

Please help me! I want to play UT2003 full speed! :)
Also...is my 3Dmark score normal?

THX GUYS :)

I'd keep the case and change the power supply for an Antec, Enermax, or something simmilar, unless you have the P4 power supply from Aopen (they're pretty decent). A lot of mother boards are comming with ethernet cards onboard lately. I'd just change the mother board CPU, and ram and see how well your system runs. The GF3-ti 200 is still a pretty decent card.

PS: Where in Canada do you live?
