Thoughts? Anyone know when it comes out? I'm either waiting for this, or going with 8KHA or the 7DXR, personally.

According to Tom of Tom's Hardware, the SiS 735 chipset outperforms the AMD 760 chipset. Tom's not always right, but who is? As to shipping silicon, 'fraid I don't know.

yeah, I read that Tom's Hardware review a while back. Being a reference board, it does pretty damn good. What's this KG-7 I keep hearing about?

All the previews I have seen of the sample boards using this chip have shown it performing above all the current ddr chpsets which shows a lot of promise. Unfortunately it isn't due for a while yet and by which time the toehrs may have caught up. As soon as asus and abit get their kt266 boards out I think ddr will be quite a good option

The KG7 is an AMD 760 based board and is the first offering from Abit in the DDR realm (I believe) so expect it to be top notch among AMD 760 overclocking. (Its only real competitor in this market is the Epox 8K7A).

SiS 735 boards are not going to be around until fall at the earliest.... I agree with Phil on the KT266 thing, you'll see good KT266 boards before you see a SiS 735 board (or a nForce, even).
