Has anybody seen any other infromation
on motherboard's using these chipsets?
Read the article in Tom's...I want to build
my first box and this DDR vs. SDRAM
issue is driving me crazy...To wait or not
to wait...That is the question....Leaning
towards the Epox8K7A+...Like most guy's
I want it now but don't want to make a big
mistake on my first shot out of the gate

The debate is no longer DDR vs SDRAM, because DDR is obviously better. I'd just go with the EPoX board, it won't let you down. The 735/nForce are only going to give another 5-10% gain MAXIMUM.

That's really not that big in the scheme of things-- it's about the same as what you'd get if you bought a slight faster processor later.

Also one nice thing about the 8K7A is it is ROCK SOLID. The AMD 761 chipset is really good because it is both fast and stable, so I really don't think you can go wrong with it. SiS and Nvidia's chipsets might be faster, but for all we know they may be buggy PoS, at least at the start.

With the new 8k7a bios and people hitting 190 (ram was probably the liminting them) I think the 8k7a is best ddr board out thier. I've got the board and love it, I'm sure you won't be dissapointed with the mobo.
