can't remember where it was looked at now as it's been a long last couple days. Have any of you seen this review? For a reference board it looked really promising. It has a redesigned northbridge/southbridge. their basically combined together. I can't remember the details of how this was done, but early result show it's much faster than the 133mhz transfer rate of the old seperate bridges. Someone else more knowledgeable can probably fill in the huge gaps I've left. Didn't dream it did I? I can't find the link i had to it as i had to reformat yesterday...

This review may prove useful.

There are a couple other sis 735 boards out, but all of them are lacking in features. (Specifically, in regards to overclocking.) However, in all cases the reviewers seem rather taken with the boards. The Sis735 seems to offer very good performance and stability. While meeting an attractive pricepoint to boot.

The only problem is right now, we don't have much to choose from. Give it a few more weeks and there are sure to be more boards out there.

see told you someone more knowledgeable would fill in the gaps....thanks for the link so i can re-read it. Not alot about this on the board from my search. I had been planning to buy an epox 8k7a in 2 weeks...was reconsidering, upgrading from this pc100 "super" socket 7 :p NOT

DDR is my choice, just dont know which flavor yet
