How accurate is the sandra software for telling me the CPU temperature i have an asus p4t-e mobo, and i want to overclock it i have adequate cooling but i wanna know how hot the chip is running but i cant afford to buy a probe (im broke!) so if this isnt very accurate does anyone know a free program that is? i know the mobo sensors arent as accurate as a probe but are the close enough?? i dont want to o/c my chip and it say its cool and i look inside and i have flames!!
Thanks in advance

SiSoft gives me the same reading that MotherBoard Monitor5 gives me which is the same as what the bios tells me. however my Digital doc 5 gives me a reading of 2-4c more than the others.

Just take it easy with the OCing and dont let your temps rise too much. if you are short on cash you dont want your processor to fry!!!
