While waiting for replacement power supply, I wanted to practice taking ATX plug apart using retired or dead PSU, and I dound that some comes apart very easy while other even Hercules can't get a single pin out.
It seems some brand are made with stiffer latching tab and is actually harder to loosen them for removal.
I am tempted to just cut the #%@^ wires, run sleeves onto them, solder the wires back together. I wanted to do the paracord sleeving and without taking the pins out, the result won't be quite as nice.
