Will the SLK947U fit on a Abit NS7 Rev2?

Thermalright says "no" for NS7-S!

Thanks in advance...

On their website...they specifically say that Rev 2s will not fit. It probably will..but will require modifications to the motherboard.

Spend a little more...and get the thermalright SP-97 which cools a little better and IS compatible with the NF7-S rev 2.0 ******[edit]...disregard this..I see you already have the 947u :)

It (SLK947U) is for a new NS7 Rev2.0 which I do not have yet, and I will need to purchase another HS. I like the SLK947U on my IS7 MB and would like to get another if it is compatable....

fits fine, the black mounting square touches capacitors on the board(only the little piece which can be sanded, think that amd doesnt need this) but it fits.

Yup it fit no problem on mine. Just used a grinder to whip off the offending little black tab an your in business. Literally took less than a minute with a bench grinder. Actually took longer to wrap the heatsink in a towel then to grind.

What motherboard are you referring to? The NS7 (don't think this model exists) or the NF7? It's fits with no modifications on my NF7-S (rev2).
