Can you upgrade to a coppermine
or celeron on a asus p2b rev 1.02 board
using a sloket?
can you adjust to voltage ?
can they be tweaked?
I read someware on the net a guy did do this
using the right bios rev.
what's the best slocket
please help

I can't see why not. The better slotkets such as the Abit and Iwill have jumpers to select Vcore voltage, and to support coppermine series chips. The limitations would be bios related. A quick look at the Asus site to see what bios revisions are available, and the cpus they support will be the key.

i have a friend who has the same board and got a coppermine to work on it...but the voltage is at 1.8v since that's the lowest that the board supports. anything set lower than that would result to nothing.

133 is the max fsb of the board...so you're stuck there...but hey...it's a cheap upgrade path. buy a 700E and go to 933 with just a slocket. =)
