Slot-type Drives

I'm looking for a DVD-RW and a DVD-ROM drive that are slot-loaders, (like in a car dashboard-mounted CD player). I can't seem to find any at newegg, would any of you know where to get some?

Pioneer makes some very nice slot-loading DVD-ROM drives.

I hope slot loaders are good, I have one thats in the mail to my house. My current one is so old it cant run programs off of it.

I don't get it... Is there an advantage to slot-loaders, besides the coolness factor?

Good luck finding a slot load burner. I've been waiting on them for yrs. Seems there are a few made for Apples but I don't no if they would work with PC's. Also they are very expensive.
