All that means is that if there are no WU's for your cause, then it will download other WU's till new WU's can be generated for your cause. This way it can do other work instead of just sitting there doing nothing :).
Also it is possible for the servers to run out of all WU's.

Ya, looks like they havin trouble keepin up with WUs. Ugh, I hate idle machines. my house gets cold. Yes, my fleet very literally acts as our house's furnace, the boiler is not on.

I had 5 idle at the same time yesterday. I still think we finished folding, lol. At some point Alpha fold or any AI fold is going to make this obsolete.

Plenty of errors yet. I don't understand why they fail to send at times. Maybe one of their servers is down and the sister server cant keep up?

I checked this site yesterday just snooping around and just checked again after reading your post, way more gray today than yesterday but I notice it changes from time to time.

Yep, I always suggest using the .deb, especially if you're not familiar with Linux. On my V8 folders I actually built V8.4 from source on GitHub using 24.04. Figured it was an experiment in the first place, might as well use the latest version. Been workin fine for the few months I've been doing it. Usually failing cores like that indicate a driver issue.
