ATTO reports very bad perfomance, about 120KB/s for .5KB files. My ATA drives'speed is about 2M/s.
With HD-Tach i still never pass 50Mb/s, avg 45Mb/s, and 5.8ms access time.
Under Win98 ATTO gives my drives 55Mb/s and HD-Tach give me 4.8ms access time and max read of 57Mbs and averate 49Mb/s, which is more reasonable..
I am running Adaptec 29160 and IBM UltraStar 36Z15 Ultra160 15kRPM SCSI drive. The card is on a PCI 64-bit slot, and sharing no IRQ with any other devices (reported by device manager in Windows)
This is a known issue but I could not find any solutions that works. Please give me some suggestions.
