Slow speeds transferring from SSD to USB 3 stick

I'm copying a large (10GB) file from my Intel 520 SSD to my Patriot USB 3.0 flash drive. It's advertised as getting 150 MB/s, but I'm only getting around 23 MB/s. Any idea where I'd start to look for the culprit here?

Did you do any standalone benchmarks? What model flashdrive? I've seen a few USB 3 drives with high read speeds but then write speeds are just average. That is unless the 150MB/s number is it's rated write speed.

In addition to the above... What port is it connected to on your M8G? What USB 3.0 driver do you have installed? What file type is it?
