Ei i have a Maxtor 20gb drive that when booting up it the SMART says that my HD will have a possible break down and says must back-up files. But when i switched off the SMART feature disabled at the Mobo but it stills popping up..


Damn must press the F1 key..

Replace the disk while you are still able to save your data. The SMART error detection system isn't there to be ignored.
