what's up people,

i need some serious help, I have a very stubborn PIII that I want to push hard past its limit

right now I'm in the middle of planning of putting a Kendon Gas-Cooled+Quad Peltier Cooled HSF in my system, which is one of them crazy *** Japanese coolers, for very low temps (-50'C, can we say), well now......

My question is, how much space is there between the CPU and the DIMM slots? How much exact fan clearance space?

Will I have enough space? this cooler is about 9cm in length, and well very tall, but I've heard many people have had success with the cooler.

One more question (this is getting long, I know, but stick with me, I'm going into Japanese overclocking, runnin high FSB's with low low temps, whats the best ABIT board to do it with, I need some serious space between the DIMM slots, without sacrificing FSB settings, nor stability,

1). Keep my Abit BE6-II v1.0 (less space between CPU and DIMM,not that stable, but lots of features, I/O tweaking, FSB options)

2). Buy an older Abit BH6 v1.2 (more space between CPU and DIMM slots, more stability, but need to remodel with one of them Turbo PLL 01's to get more FSB options, no I/O tweaking)

3). Buy an Abit SH6 (more space between CPU and DIMM than the first two, lots of features, pretty stable, no I/O voltage, dammit)

What should I choose, how should I do it?

SOLTEK!!!????? I hear those are pretty generic. Your best bet for o/c is an abit, asus, or msi. I have an asus cusl2-c and love it. its great!
