I HAVE A HP PAVILLION 6735 AND THE BOARD SAYS TRIGEM ON IT BUT NO ONE SHOWS THAT ON THERE LISTS IS THIS NOT THE NAME OR AM I LOOKING AT THE WRONG THING I THINK IT'S AN ATX BOARD BUT NOT SURE ANY SUGESTIONS?????

Sometimes, the make and model is printed on the board somewhere between a couple of the PCI slots. Sometimes there is a label on or around the bottom PCI slot. As for whether it's a ATX board, I think all socket 370 boards would have to be ATX style, but look at the power connector that goes from the power supply to the motherboard. If it's a one piece connector, it's an ATX, if it's a two piece connector, it's an older style AT board.

urm its a HP so change your mobo.. and PSU.. and get a new windows cd......

sorry.. haha lol

how you find humor in misfortune is beyond me.

the power supply (if it's atx) won't need to be replaced should you decide to upgrade. Very unlikely an atx board will fit in a proprietary case, but there is a chance.

LOL...are you saying that owning a Hewlitt Packard is a misfortune?? I agree you BTW......

i'm using my backup hp right now. you will need to replace that ps, it's rated at somewhere close to hamster wheel for wattage. it does say atx tho...and the board is atx sized and drilled for atx holes, it's just that the other stuff, like the sound card/modem, floppy drive, and case design, is all goofy.

plus onboard video sucks hard...

and so does no agp...

and only 3 pci slots....

and zero cooling....

and crappy bios....

the list goes on and on...
