In fact, the lifetime of the Athlon XP processors for both 462-pin and 754-pin sockets it stretched till 2006.

A) how did I manage to fall from the Intel motherboard forum to the AMD forums

B) yay, that'll mean AMD users can buy more stuff without having to update their chipsets

Now remember AMD's 32bit strategy everyone:
Duron = Failed Low Cache AthlonXP = Failed AthlonXP = Failed Athlon MP
now if Intel could do that more they'd have much cheaper chips
