Someone here tried helping me set up portforwarding. I was unsuccessful and fed am up with the failures. Ive tried over and over and over again.

Thus, I will whimp out and install a socks5 server instead. Anyone know where I can DL the source for one?

A socks server can be used when a program supports socks. Now that I got portforwarding working I dont need to install a socks server. Its a good thing too, because I usually have bad luck compiling sources. :(

To see how I corrected my portforwarding problem refer to my other post here.

Thank you for your help anyway.

I was thinking that a socks server is undesirable *because* not nearly all programs support socks.
