ok, i can run my duron 900 @ 1150mhz w/o a problem usually, but i want to know how to use the multiplier switch. When i switch the multiplier, my computer doesnt even show the boot screen. Do i have to connect the bridges, if so which ones?
please help,
peace

Yes, you need to unlock the Duron before you can change the multiplier. Window defog repair kit will work as a good permanent method to unlock. A soft lead #2 pencil sharpened very well will also usually do the trick. Just connect all your L1s, making sure none are cross-connected, and you should be good to go.

Use the pencil if your not sure

Id also use the pencil if you aint sure it worked fine on my lousy duron 750 which was only capable of 950max. but its easy and safe if it dont work first time though check your connections you may need to add more pencil to the track to get the current to flow well enough.

And remeber if it goes wrong you can just rub it out.

Good luck its quite an easy task with the pencil if you have a steady hand. put it like this my old man could do it and he has whopping big farmer paws and no idea about intricate stuff i thought he was going to take the mig welder to it as he disappeared off to the machinery shop lol..
