:) Gettin' there, but not quite. Almost. Me myself personally, still waiting for X38-Penryn or Eaglelake-Nehalem or AMD equivalent to upgrade from nForce2-Barton. ;)

I'm waiting until I have the money to get back into things... figure a couple years yet :-\
 
Hey,
after days of searching I finlly found this thread, I know that we are in 2022, but I like to manage to overclock and modding old systems.

I found that thread and with some difficulties I manage to put a wire to shunt these two socket pins, and IT WORKED! Finally I can make run my XP-M 2600+ to 2,55ghz @ 1,8v.!

I put photos of the socket, they can be useful for some people ;)
