Hey guys i'm looking to build a new gaming machine in a few weeks and would like some advice and/or comments on the current build i've selected. My budget is less than 2000 do not want to go over too much of where i am at now. I'm looking to overclock this, no sli or bridge, most popular game titles to date is what i'm looking to play. I live in texas, and yes there is a MC close to me.

If you have someone in the family that has a .EDU e-mail address you can get Windows 7 professional 64bit on the Microsoft Student discount for $60. It's the full version and can be installed on completely new hardware.

Are you sure about the windows 7 if you have an edu address because I went online and asked them if I could get this if I am a college student and I need a new install and was told the following:

Caleb: If you are referring to the Windows 7 Professional with students discount, that is an upgrade version.

Caleb: You need a lower version of Windows like Windows XP or Windows Vista installed so that you may install it properly.

yes, it is the upgrade version, but there is an option to do a clean install, it does not check for previous installs. I have done this myself, it works great.
