is there some way i can get around this without getting more ram ?

so I take it you have less than 128MB? 96? You really need to get some more, especially if you run Win2000 or XP.....will help your performance tremendously......besides, RAM is dirt cheap:D What kind of RAM are you using?

To answer your question: I don't think there's another way around your problem, sorry:(

3dmark problem

1) Try using the original 3dmark2001.
2) Get more ram.
3) If you have enough ram, but it's giving you that message, try: reinstalling 3dmark, and/or moving your ram into a different dimm slot.
