how long did u leave the as to stick the hs to the core? or did you just plop it right in after you attatched it. Very good idea attatching that hs, made me want to do it to mine but my card doesn't overheat :)

The heatsink is stuck on with arctic silver adhesive. I left it for almost a whole day which is alot longer than arctic silver suggested just to make sure it had bonded properly.

Where did you get Copper Heatsink???

Hey nightowl.......I looked at that place you told me to.......I found the heatsink you have but you must buy it with a fan......Did you buy the fan with it........I'm looking for just that copper heatsink without the fan......Where could i get something like that??? thx man.......

I did get mine with the fan. I dont know where you would get one without the fan but who knows you might find a use for the fan some day :D

Fitting the copper heatsink let me oc the core clock about 20-25MHz over stock, my ram wont go higher than 615MHz at the moment.
Once the ramsinks have been attached I will see if I can get more MHz out if the ram.

you know - i would use some nylon cable ties tied around the h/s and the card to make sure that h/s doesnt rip the chip off the board.

good job on that btw

I hope I get a new heatsink soon. I could cut the stock Heatsink and use it for GPU cooling!

I might look in to that. It would be reassuring to know there was some extra support. Cheers James.

I'll be putting it through its paces today. So far I have reached 320/615.

Hey Dirty_Punk have you upped the agp voltage to get those core/memory speeds?

no, IT7 haven't any AGP voltage settings...
the vga default can do 360/660 watercooled & pelt (stock cooling can do 335/650).. to get more mhz i've overvolted it, but vmem only to 3.6v (some people set it to 4.0v but my memory give some artifacts from >3.65v) and vgpu to 1.92v (always some people can set it to 2.2v and i can't with better cooling.... i don't know why...)
