ok here's my problem. i reinstalled redhat 7.2 this morning after a mishap i had messing around with fdisk on a win98 boot floppy (don't ask). well i chose not to install ximian gnome right now, so i'm using regular gnome with nautilus as my file manager and sawfish as my window manager. well i've attached an image of my desktop...it is pretty much all white. the problem comes in with the desktop icons. the words for them are very light grey and are hard to see on the white background. i know there has to be a way to change this but i cannot find an option anywhere. so any help would be GREATLY had. thanks!

There should be some sort of option when you right click on the desktop in the menu options to change the font colors on the desktop.

I don't think there is anything you can do. I didn't see an option, and Linus wouldn't know because he doesn't make Nautilus.

You should try and dig up a Nautilus mailing list or something and go through it. Maybe search groups.google.com
