Ok, so it being Christmas and all I haven't been in my cave (room), much , and certainly not on my computer as much . So I got on today to check out some boxing day sales, and noticed, my folding clien wasn't running.

Then I remembered that a few days ago a checked out a new game I got (Conflict: Desert Storm 2 [peice]) and it made you reboot the system, or was it Sonys Sonic Stage... whatever.

So my folding cleint hasn't been running and I feel dumb.

So how do I set it up to start when my computer boots, as I am new to XP?

create a shortcut, goto all user folder, and open up programs then startup, place a shortcut there. Happy folding

that'll try to start a client everytime a user logs on.


use wedo's one-click service install. it's the easiest. then get a program like FAH Logstats or EMIII to monitor progress.

I use a program called system mechanic to manage all my start-ups, it really easy to use and has alot of other features also.

If you are using the text client and EM3 then there is a nice little option to "start with windows"

I agree with the one click install. It's the quickest and easiest to setup.

I must say, I'm going to miss that face It really cracked me up. But yes, the EMIII has a start with windows option.
