Actually used the Clone Brush feature in Adobe PS6 and reworked the pic that way...used the colors from the lights to make the beer mug shape and touched it up some...Just wish I hadn't fragged the full image after I had cropped it to enable posting here on the forums...Such is life...;)

That looks like a strip club I used to hang out at. Is that Sen. Wellfare in the picture?

steve

lol its paul wellstone not wellfare:p
and yes it looks like a strip club:p we are using this pic in my presentation tomoro:p

Just learned that Sen. Paul Wellstone was killed in a plane crash...

Rest in Peace...:(

I would imagine that even Rush would have respect for the dead...You never know tho...;)

Do you have any idea what Jessie (the mind ) Ventura might do? In the event of the loss of a Congress member, the state Governor appoints someone to fill out their remaining term.

The Senate is, right now, at 49 R and 49 D with one independant. Gov. Ventura now has the power to decide the Majority party in the senate.

That is one HELL of a job for a retired pro wrestler.

steve

P S I think Rush will do the proper thing, since we get the Limbaugh show on tape delay, I have to wait.

Mask, in light of the passing of Sen. Wellstone, I wouldn't advise showing the picture

I am deeply troubled by the passing of Sen. Wellstone, his wife and the others in the airplane. I am concerned about the makeup of the Senate for the near future, as well.

I am really taking this hard. I have been a Wellstone supporter for over 12 years, and have spoken with him many times. I had the opportunity to talk with his son at length, and worked extensively for his campaign, especially in 1990 when he was first elected.

The loss is not only personal, it is also a tragedy for all of us. Senator Wellstone was the outspoken advocate for the less fortunate, and was compassionate in his work.

Almost twelve years ago, when Wellstone was able to win that election, against steep odds, I thought it was a miracle. I remember feeling about as good as I had ever felt.

Now, I don't think I could feel much worse.

yes it is a sad thing that happend, and the odd thing is that this all happened a 2hr after our presentation, WITH this picture in it..... it was a joke tho(stated above) otherwize it was fun, when someone told me this next block i didnt beleve it rite away....

Mask, you have 'real good' timing, starting this thread when you did. Ironic isn't it

Flounder, I don't know a lot about your local politics, but I have heard that while Sen. Wellstone was a Liberal, he was following his true beliefs, not mouthing what he thought would get him re-elected. While I might not follow those beliefs, I truly respect him for what he believed, and that he did what he said.

There is a lot more to respect in this, than someone whose 'profession' was bashing another man with a folding chair.

Senator Wellstone was really something special, and I think that you are correct when you said that he followed his true beliefs...

It is a tragedy.
