you have to give them a reason your site needs to be added. I told them i have live gerbils making love to elaphants and i was added. Actually i just listed features my site had and it was added 2-3 days later.

This will be a tough one, as all our PC's run hotter than everyone elses!

Maybe start taking suggestions here, to put into an email to send to them, listing our positives, and things to offer.

1) Great online forums, for help, and information.
2) Many friendly people, who are willing to help others.
3) Freindly, competitive team.
