Why does the CD say this when I put it in? There is nothing anywhere that says that it does not support Windows 98. The message is: "This CD does not support Windows 95 or 98." Personally, I think that is bs. Why am I having all these problems??? I swear I've had to do almost everything 3 times....

try a different PCI slot...i've read that these cards can be a real pain to install (especially with IRQs)

That doesn't sound right... what does the CD say on it... does it mention liveware, version, anything?

The CDs that came with my Live (non value version) card were for win 95/98, but NOT NT/2000...

There are three different versions of the CD. If you bought the card OEM, you need to take it back to the place you bought it from, and ask for the Win95/98 CD. There are also 2000/NT4 CD's and then the newest, 95,98,2000,NT CD's.

Nevermind luckily my dad found the Windows 98 SE CD he had lying around and I installed it, then the CD worked fine. It only works with Windows 98 SE, 2000, and NT. :\
