Hey ppl. I got a problem with sounds when playing a game( like Bioshock 2) or watching some movies. It just starts to lag, sometimes misses whole frames of sounds.(When setting the FSB back to stock, it all goes well again) Still, the sound is flawless when playing audio files only. I OCed my E6400 processor with Setfsb soft FSB from 266 to 326 MHz. That gave me a boost from 2130 MHz to 2450 MHz. Haven't changed any voltages or RAM timings from bios.
MB: Intel DP965LT (doesn't have any OC features, apart from changing RAM values)
Processor: Intel Core Duo E6400
RAM: 2x2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400 800 MHz DDR2 Ram timings 5-5-5-18
Sound card: Onboard IDT High def audio

If u need more info just let me know. Thx for help

I am assuming you have run a stress test to test this OC? what software did you use and for how long? I suggest prime95 for at least 5-6 hours. if unstable i would pump voltages up a fraction.

Sounds like electrical cross talk. In weaker boards the changes in voltages and frequency can cause issues integrated sound. Easy way to check this is drop in a sound card.

As to the dropped frames could be the same issue.

your overclocking via software? i'm guessing it doesn't lock the PCI express clock.
most boards that support overclocking lock the PCI/AGP/PCI express clocks.
i remember trying to overclock my PCI/AGP clocks and it got unstable at +3mhz.
