I have two Soyo boards, SY6BA+IV (Slot 1/BX) and SY7VCA2 (Socket 370/133a) and I luv 'em. They run every day...haven't had any stability problems. From what I've read, they had some issues with they're earlier boards but the new ones appear to be much better in quality and functionality.
As far as I know, the only thing they're really missing BIOS-wise is the ability to move the FSB in 1MHz increments like some Abit and Asus boards...but thats trivial if you have a nice chip or you just want a modest overclock.
It's not a bad board but I still like my old BH6 better. The SOYO allowed me to overclock a slot1 P3 650 cB0 to 866 stable. Couldn't go any higher being limited to +7.5% on the CPU voltage. I had issues with the VIA chipset and the onboard audio that I eventaully resolved except I can't get any sound in DOS even with another sound card installed and the onboard sound disabled.Overall it's OK.
Can you please tell me what voltage you used? can 7.5% harm the board?
