hey people...
I have a soyo sy-6be mainboard, and my opinion is that ih has limited overclocking abilities... does anyone here has any expirience with it?? it doesn't support the 124BUS, or you can't modify the voltage... so you have to work directly on the processor??

well does anyone know any more data on this mainboard, or how to OC a CPU on it...
thx, bye

not familiar with the board, but a bios flash may turn up a few new settings.

The settings you have are either on the jumper settings or in the bios, but there is no "direct" way to manipulate the processor. Flash to the latest and see if you get any new settings.......if you are at the latest bios flash, you may be stuck with the only settings you can get.

Consider Soft FSB as well. It "may" be an option for you and is available on my FTP in my sig.

well i do have the latest BIOS, but i'll try checking the jumpers.... as for SoftFSB, i tried to use it once, but every next time i booted win, the immideatley popped their (in)famous blue screen, so i'm not that thrilled on the thought of using it again....

but i will try something with the jumpers though...
