I have the beta. Actually, I have two of the betas. I'm not sure how much I'm gonna like the new built in security stuff. I didn't in the betas. That's why I uninstalled them. Maybe just pre-release bugs. We will surely see.

If I remember correctly sp4 for 2K was kinda screwy at first release. Wouldn't be without it now.

You can disable the security center in services in admin tools. Second thing I did after making themes work.

Interesting because I never installed the betas, I just do my regular windows updates from time to time and I was looking at the list of programs in Add/Remove programs and their are four windows hotfixes that have (SP2) at the end of the name/description.

Same...then I removed it all together

I have RC1 of SP2. I found that it disallows ICS. Drove me nuts. I reloaded my machine 3 times before I realized that I needed to disable the MS firewall. I'm not complaining too much though because in all fairness, it's not actually released yet.
