Well I just bought this massive beast! I'm going to sound like a huge fan boy but you'll see why later.

I just bought the Spire Thermax Elcipse II.
http://www.spirecoolers.com/main/product_detail.asp?ProdID=938

Here are my computer specs:
CPU: i5 - 750
PSU: 700w OCZ StealthxStream
MOBO: ASUS P7P55D LGA 1156 ATX
CASE: CoolerMaster Elite 370
RAM: OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600)
GPU: Sapphire 5770 1GB

So install is another story, but this post will be about performance, if you want the install story just let me know.
The cooler comes with two fans, I installed both so the tests are a reflection of using both fans.

CPU with stock cooler:
No overclock (2.66Ghz)
Idle temp: 37
Load temp: 68
With overclock(3.2Ghz)
Idle temp: 46
Load temp: 76

CPU with new cooler:
No overclock (2.66Ghz)
Idle temp: 26
Load temp: 52
With overclock(3.2Ghz)
Idle temp: 33
Load temp: 63
With more overclock(3.5Ghz)
Idle temp: 40
Load temp: 72

So basically this thing is a complete beast. For an air cooler that only costs $55 US, this may be one of the best options on the market.
I used prime95 to put a load on the cpu, and I used the built in ASUS motherboard over clocking.

Also this thing is pretty loud with two fans!
