Here's a pic of my retail bought Max2 Rev.2 (left) and the pic of the IT7-Max2 Rev2 on Abit's FTP site (right) -
The obvious difference is the colour of the PCB. Doesn't look anywhere near as nice!
Also, the writing on the left edge doesn't actually say Rev2 on my board and the battery is located horizontally instead of vertically.
The board is the Rev2 with the PE chipset, I wonder what's going on at Abit!!!
It probably all comes down to cost (subcontracting to ECS etc..)
This board also doesn;t exist on their products website!
