TC,

which board is this? if the board you got from me then something wrong in setting.
It was rock solid at 210 in winter and 208 in summer.

Yes one of them is. Its never run reliably over 185 for more than a day or two. Im not sure what could be set different. Ive tried a range of core volts, vtt, ram timings, etc. Of course Im using different ram since you only had 5 dimms, but mine is gskill 2133 so it should easily handle those speeds.

How strange - neither of my sr2s will post with it disabled. I've tried just about every bios version. It was suggested to turn it off for some linux distros but the native folding appliance and the kraken both depend on it being enabled to achieve peak productivity.

Yep on the strange. Of course, I might have it backwards. Next time I boot it up, I'll snap a picture of the screen.

Well the 3 sr2s that I've had were all so finicky that an awkward glance would stop them from posting - even at defaults sometimes.

I would consider going six core later on but I acquired these quads for practically shipping cost, alittle over exaggeration but really cheap, $128 shipped for the pair

Well its alive. I hit 207 bclk max stable putting my cpu Oc @ 3.1Ghz alittle better than expected:thup:. Pulled my first 6903 and finished my first 10 frames averaging 44 min 20 sec tpf f@h bonus calculator is estimating 89,816ppd in native Ubuntu w/ kraken. This is awesome, I was hoping for 75,000ppd w/ a measly 3Ghz Oc so hitting almost 90,000ppd is a very satisfying. Fold on.:comp:

Well done all around, Newbie! That's a lot of points there! :soda: :soda:
