I am building my grandmother a computer and it needs to be rock solid stable.I bought a Duron 750 and need some ideas on an inexpensive(CHEAP) MOBO that is good and stable. Thanks for the help in advance.

well any one with an amd761 or a via kt133 or kt133a chipset would be best im using a soyo k7vta for my duron 900 and it works very well and i have had zero problems with it, the shuttle AK12 is a good stable one too "not a great overclocker though" i built a 750 duronsystem for my sister on this board and its rock solid.

I have a Gigabyte GA-7ZX in my system right now. It's crap for overclocking, but I've not had any problems with it. I'm putting together a system for my sister, and I'm using the GA-7ZX-1, which is a stripped down version of the 7ZX, with no ISA slot, no dual BIOS. But it has on-board Creative Labs sound. Usually I despise on-board sound, but since my sister doesn't plan on doing much hardcore gaming (or any at all, for that matter), I figure it should work for her. I also got her a Duron 750, and 256MB PC133 ram. I bought the 7ZX-1 for under $100. And if you order it from Directron, you can bundle processors, memory, HSF and thermal compound with it. Might wanna give it a look, to save on some shipping.
