From reviews, graphics, performance, terrible AI, storyline, questing, difficulty, the now usual woke ramblings, take your pick

Good example from one of my fav funny reviewers:

It seems like you live on YouTube ;)

I only heard some bugs make you reinstall the game and lose all progress ... and it's in more than one place. I won't even comment on ridiculous prices. I guess they have to pay for the license.

I would still like to play it (probably in 6-8 months when they fix everything), but I don't want to buy it for $70+ and I missed all free game promos.

YouTube became background noise over the years while I do everything else, the beauty of having a setup with multiple monitors ;)

There were quite a few AI bugs still in the release version, according to reviews, but it seems to be mostly playable. From what little I've seen, the game is as generic as they come, and all the issues just pile on to it, nothing to really keep you going unless maybe RP as a scoundrel if that's your thing? Meh, someone will like it

Oh damn, I just saw this, I would have sued Ubisoft into oblivion if I was her...

Even after the latest patches to tweak her face, it's still kinda meh...

Her face in both photos looks a bit different too ... photoshop or something?

Likely the usual slight tweaking and couple pounds of makeup

Awesome!

Did they show any IQ comparisons or just performance?

And HOLY ****, the vRAM use on this game! It's a good thing it's one of those that allocate but doesn't 'need'. WowO, lol.

Lotsa IQ comparisons. Didn't know this, apparently this game comes with RT on as default like Metro (although to be fair I don't see it), and you can't turn it off except on the config files (and then looks weird, obviously not supposed to be off), which kinda explains the very rough performance :chair:

Portrait photographs of people can look very different depending on how close it is taken as it alters perspective. Generally speaking, if the camera is close up it is considered less flattering since it emphasises the nose and shrinks the edges. Somewhat longer focal lengths give a more flattering balanced look. Note this is about the actual position as that affects perspective. Using a lot of zoom from far away to get "close up" is not the same as being actually close up.

Her jawline and some other things are different. I know how lights and other things can affect photos, but some changes probably were made for some publications. It also seems like there is a significant time difference between both photos.

It was likely the TikTok/Snapchat filter or photoshop (apart from the age difference), I mean, I can't recognize my own kids when they send photos via those apps...

Non of these issues would be off putting to me. The reason I won't get the game (Unless it's free with a GPU ) ? It's not on Steam.o_O

Using Ubisoft Connect isn't fun. It also forces updates, needs an online connection, and often forgets passwords/related user info. It's not my bank account to need two-phase authentication and auto-forgetting saved data when I'm not using it for a week+. I use it for many benchmarks that I need for reviews. If I don't use it for some time, then I always wait for 50GB+ updates/file checks and other things.
