status icons....

Is there a way for the status Icons in the lower right corner of win2k pro to go away or become hidden? There are couple of them that run that I never need to access and it would be nice if they were hidden. Anyone have suggestions?

Not sure which ones you mean, but here is a program that will let you access your start up folders and your RUN regestry setting.

Just set it up and be sure to go to the options tab and deselect the "Run at Startup" option(This is for trouble shooting and asks for each item)


After you instal it and click onit just look at what program icons you do not want to show and click on them. Its a good program and works flawlessly with 2K.

i dont think 2k has it built in ( i know xp does) im sure 3rd party software would allow you to get rid of the icons, do a google search.
