Ok about 3 weeks ago I installed my water cooler. I am using a fridge and stuff to get my cpu on average 10-20c throughout the day. (about 7c at start and 18-20c after a whole day) so I have decided about 3 times now to leave my computer on during the night doing various things. but all 3 times that I have left it on, I wake up in the morning and move the mouse. nothing happens. The optical mouse's light isnt on. my montor is getting signal but only showing black. I basicly get NO response from my computer. So this last time I turned it off. 10 seconds later I hit the power....nothing, no monitor no mouse, I can see (I have the MSI D-light) that the mobo has power but it isnt doing anything. So I am like great, condensation must have gotten it. I leave it off. A few hours later I come back from church and hit the power. Everything works fine. This has happend 3 time now. Anyone have ANY idea what the problem is? I know this cant really be a good thing so I would like it fixed. and of course it will be turned off at night until the problem is resolved. Thx for reading: :)

a million different possibilities here. checked for leaks? condensation problems? what is or is not insulated? how exactly does your fridge work? is the computer build into it, or is the radiator inside it?

have you tried checking any of your hardware for problems. run a scandisk with surface scan to check your hard drive, and definitely memtest-86 for the memory.

just the first couple things that pop into my head

air is getting to the block or lines and ice is forming someplace, when the ice melts its dripping on something in there or its a problem in the OS, sys not recovering from from sleep mode... or a combination of both. get a good maginfying <sp? glass and look it over also check the backside of the board.

are your mouse and keyboard wireless? Sometimes they disconnect after long periods of inactivity (IE overnite) and then when you come back your pc is dead because you can't wake it up by mouse or keyboard b/c of the wireless, if so try to get the latest drivers. It fixed my probs that i initially had w/logitech wireless mouse and keyboard.

Well I cant really run many programs since my mother board wont boot up half the time. I got it to run this morning and I had left it on until about 7:00 pm this evening. I have been doing homework and I let it sit for about 2 hours. It went into the crazy non responsive mode and I restart. nothing....black....so i left it of for .5 hours. came back still nothing. I booted up my dads cpu and here I am. :D ARG I will deffinetly backup all my stuff once I get my baby booted up....if it will again. I need to reformat the thing anyways (I try to do that every 6-8 months) its been awhile since I last did that. I wonder if it is somthing to do with my water cooler but if condensation did get to it. Why after several hours be fine? I mean if water did get on the board would it just fry it after times? I also think it might have somthing to do with a scree nsaver I got from Nvidia ( Anark somthing it was called) because it seems when it turned on. but i uninstalled it (as best I could) and it happened again. And I wouldnt think it would totaly stop my mobo from booting up but.....you never know with windows. Anyways I will tinker with my hardware tonight but in the mean time here is my system specs: I have a mini fridge, in that is a gallon resivor and an underwater pump. I cut the freezer tray so it dips into my water. I use 20/10 for fluid. 2 tubes come out of my fridge. one for going one for coming. thoughs tubes are braided to stop kinking. they are insulated with ameraflex insualtion tape. they go all the way inside my computer to the Gold 200w Koolance water block ( I kinda got pushed into it ok, not the best but it proforms pretty well). My mobo is sealed with RTV sealent around the sides and the middle inside. Dielectric grease is used to seal the chip, ameraflex is used to all the way around the whole socket. there is RTV sealent also on te back pins and a square of Ameraflex is also on thoughs. My cpu systems specs are in my sig. So what should I do from here? Should I plug my HD into my dads cpu and make sure its not the problem? Should I check the connections of all my PCI cards?....replys are welcomed :d Thx for reading. oh ya I dont have a wirless mouse or keyboard. my mouse is usb optical and my keyboard is usb too.

(crying) I booted it up this morning (yes it turned on) and i was reading on a forum....after I was done I hit the red X button to close the window and not only did the window close. But my whole computer closed! I admit it was very funny but not very fun. Condensation? bump bump :D

Well, truly a bitter sweet resolution. sweet = its not condensation, so my boards safe. Bitter = its my video card. Eh....
