I have a strange problem

scenario:

Domain with it's own Domain controller, Active Dir etc

there's one printer hooked straight into the Lan eeveryone can connect to the queue fine

But i recently added a Laser printer, it is hooked Via USB to one of the clients
it is shared

i try connecting to it and i get a

"there is a policy in effect on this computer that doesn't allow u to connect to this Printer Queue please contact admin"

something along those lines...

I've checked the services, checked GPEDIT, hell i even gave full control to the user in AD.. and made them a Power User locally..

I can't think of anything else to do

I can connect on a couple machines,

and others I can't

all have WIN XP pro...

Even tried a fresh install.. no luck :(

HELP!!

I work at a college and we had the same problem, the printer was installed locally. What we did was buy a print server box and gave it it's own ip (they make them for usb devices)
