Hi all. I have an Abit BH7 and I just installed an Aquarius II watercooling setup. CPU temps have dropped at least 15 degrees C under load. The BH7 mobo is notorious for having wildly swinging temps but I think part of my system is truly overheating. Within Winbond Hardware Doctor the temp reading marked as "Other" gets higher than the CPU. In fact, while running Sandra it has approached 65C. Once the temp gets that high the system usually shuts down. This never happened with air cooling.

What could this possibly be? Did I forget to hook something back up? What on earth is this sensor reading?

As I write this my CPU temp is 44 @ 1.74v and "Other" is 42 degrees celsius.

Probably the northbridge. Before, it was getting some air from the CPU's fan so that kept it cool.

Put a fan on it and it will probably drop back down.

I have the same board and I have the same problem as well hehe. Welcome to the club. I am running way overclocked though, got a 2.4b running at 3.4. My NB gets up there as well, like up around 70 or so according to the winbond monitor software. Hasn't caused me any stability issues so far, and adding a 40mm fan to the NB heatsink didn't make any difference. I even added Arctic Silver 3 to the HS and no luck. Anyhow, I am done messing with it. I just told the monitor that like 85 is max temp on that thing and it doesn't want to shut down on me anymore. Might not be best solution for you though hehe. Good luck.
