Well that pretty much says it all
I bought a Packard Bell Legend Supreme 1730 about 3 years ago for 3,500 bucks (imagen what I could get for that NOW! )

It has a PB790 board, 233mmx and what not, the Bios is a couple years old and the jumper pins dont go past 233, however I was wondering if it was possible to over clock my processor like one would over lock their Voodoo3 3000 (IE with regedit)

If anyone could be of Help I would apreciate it, I am almost ready to get a i850 mobo with a 1.5ghz chip, but damn thats expensive!

And this computer has some sentimental value, I learned how to crack/hack/program and what not :) on this old gal.

Any help would be appreciated, I dont want to have to throw this gal out.

I've got 96mb in it now and a Voodoo3 OC'ed to 195mhz had it at 200 but wasnt very stable, need better cooling just have heat sinks in my computer, and the sides are off till I can work out something better.

Laters!

Well I am thinking of getting an Asus P4T as replacement motherboard, any thoughts on this?

Can't believe nobody ever answered your post. Well, 28 months later I will. You could of got a faster AMD K6-2 CPU for that old beast if your BIOS supports it.
